Hicon (AKARIA) was established in February 1992 with Lebanese/Kuwait Capital, to operate as consultants and contractors in the building sector. The company's headquarter is based in Beirut with a subsidiary company in Kuwait.
Hicon is to offer clients - tailored comprehensive multi-disciplinary services, in the fields of:
- Building construction. - Civil engineering. - Road construction & Infrastructure. - Mechanical & Electrical engineering.

We pride ourselves in our flexibility and innovative approach in dealing with a wide diversity of projects sizes, complexity, technical, and managerial challenges. Computer aided design and quality assurance are integral parts of our operational philosophy.
The experience of the past years has emphasized the importance of our pre-planned strategy with respect to the geographical, technological, and financial expansion in order to maintain the Firm's prime objective of continued business consolidation. The Lebanese post-war development within the construction industry is considered an important market, where large assignments are expected to be gained.
However, the company contributed to the Lebanese post-war development through designing and building residential projects in the capital and Mount Lebanon. These later projects are sited among the mountain pine forests with fabulous views, and reflect the Lebanese architectural character not only in terms of materials but also with respect to local codes of town practices.
Furthermore, the company's design department has provided consultancy services for a number of projects located in the capital for private clientele.
The company is continuing to develop and expand its computer based system for Architectural and Engineering sections. Our staff's qualification is progressively increasing, simultaneously with the constant development of the software market. Professional training courses are provided as required
